| Tim Lindfors, owner of Harley-Davidson of Salina, first developed his passion for motorcycles when he began racing Harley-Davidson® motorcycles in the early 1970s. Previously a technician for Ford, Tim started as the head technician for the dealership when it was opened in 1978 by Mike Bahnmaier. He was a mechanic until 1991. | | In 1991, Tim and his wife Reta were presented with the opportunity to purchase Harley-Davidson of Salina. They have been running the business ever since. |
| In mid 2001, Harley-Davidson of Salina relocated to a new 20,000 square foot facility at 2200 N. Ohio off of Interstate 70.
