"My friend, Chip, and I were riding through Kansas on the way back from an 18 day trip to the Pacific Northwest and back from our home in Virginia. We stopped at the Harley dealership in Salina, Kansas for a break and I noticed a loud noise coming from my transmission. The service manager, James, brought my bike right in and together with his technician, they diagnosed the problem quickly as a worn out main transmission bearing. The service manager put my bike ahead of all other scheduled maintenance and replaced the bearing. I was back on the road with minimal delay. I would like to personally thank James and his technician for the great service and for taking care of me even though I was just traveling through. "Was on a cross country trip and had a problem with the front tire on my 99 flht . Brought my bike in and they needed to install a new tube. "I recently purchased a new 2009 Road King Classic from Salina Harley-Davidson . I had Steve C. order the exact one that I wanted ( a Custom Color ) , plus a few extra goodies that I had decided on , and then sat and waited . During the waiting period , Steve and ALL of the staff were VERY helpful with all of my questions and patient with my impatience . "I want to thank Tony and the entire staff for making our buying experience most enjoyable. When we picked up the new '09 King it was set up with all the accessories and ready to go. My wife and I had visited dealers from Kansas to Florida trying to decide which bike, what color and what options we wanted to suit our riding needs. We stopped in at the Salina dealership and they just happened to have the bike we'd been looking for still in a crate in the back room, how lucky was that? After waiting for it to be unboxed we immediately fell in love it. The parts department was most helpful picking out the options to complete the purchase. "I rode my old Honda and you service department always took good care of it. Now that I have my new Harley they continue to make sure everything is in good order before I leave. Sometimes I stop just to ask a question and they go out of their way to get me an answer and show me what I need to know. "After being dissappointed and aggrivated at the local dealership, we went to Salina HD to get our bike serviced. Not only did they do an awesome job, but they were able to correct the problems created by the last dealership who serviced it. "On our way to Sturgis 2007, from Shreveport, Louisiana, my bike developed problems. On Tuesday, 7 Aug, we went to your dealership and were there when you opened. All the employees were helpful. The mechanic diagnosed the problem immediately and got us in as soon as possible. Del was super as well as the sales staff and parts department. They had all but one part in stock and called around to find the race that I needed. We decided to make a parts run to Witchita to avoid having to stay overnight, and while we were gone the mechanic tore down the bike and as soon as we returned replaced the part and put the bike back together getting us back on the road. You all sure know how to take care of visitors. Thanks"
